Don't forget those train tickets. Most trains cater for overnight travel due to the distances they run (this ticket Jaisalmer to Delhi, 18 hours) and there are four different classes. A.C 1/2/3 offer varying degrees of comfort and bedding, the A.C stands for air conditioned but this just means a ceiling mounted fan is available. The fourth class is 'Sleeper' which is the most basic and by all accounts pretty traumatic. I stick to A.C 2 which is a treat, especially those Indian Railways curries from the catering service
